Colour and Energy
Colour and Energy is a research-based experiment and design piece exploring how emotions shift with colour and sound as effectors.
Melissa McCracken's painting "Little Wing”, inspired by the Jimi Hendrix song of the same name.
The piece was inspired by the way those with chromesthesia are able to perceive colour through multiple senses. Additionally the ways they convey this information often having an emotional tone to it.
The research guiding this piece is further explained in my research document. In it, I go explain the theory and principles guiding the design process.

After the initial idea was finished, I took this project even further and transplanted my research, Iterations as well as mental process to another medium.
The whole point was to curate an interactive 3D museum for people to fully explore and my piece. It not only help me better explain the goal of this project in a more succinct method, but allowed me to explore another medium for which future work could be explored.
